This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of social groups through the use of image media in grade V students of SDN. 150/X Bukit Tempurung East Tanjung Jabung. The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of three cycles: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the application of picture media was effective in increasing active participation and student learning outcomes. In each cycle, there was a significant increase in students' activeness as well as their understanding of the material taught. The use of picture media helps students visualize abstract concepts and makes learning more interesting. Obstacles faced such as the availability of quality pictures were overcome by making their own pictures that fit the learning needs. This research makes an important contribution to the development of innovative and effective learning methods in primary schools.
